Modern Health therapy helps TD in fight against terminal disease

FF TD talks out about motor neuron disease and the bio-energy therapy that has helped him continue to serve in government

Leading healthcare practitioner Michael O’Doherty of Just Imagine responded today to TD Michael Fitzpatrick’s appraisal of the positive impact his treatment with Michael O’Doherty has had on his health and general well being.

Fianna Fáil TD Michael Fitzpatrick has Motor Neuron Disease, the degenerative disease whose most famous suffer is Professor Stephen Hawking. While treatment can show down the onset, the disease itself is incurable and progressive with a high mortality rate (50% within 14 months of diagnosis, the vast majority within 2-5 years of diagnosis. Some people, most notably Hawking, have survived long-term with it. (Hawking has had it for forty years.) 

Despite the difficulties faced by the minister as a result of this degenerative disease he is able to continue performing his duties as a minister. He said yesterday morning on TV3’s The Morning Show, “I attribute some of this to the fact that I’ve been going to Michael O’Doherty who does this bio-energy treatment. I just feel being in his presence, being in the room with him, him doing what he does upon you – I just felt good about it and I feel stronger having gone to him.” 

Michael O’Doherty in response to the TD’s praise has said, “The time has come to take an integrated approach in health care and in particular when it comes to the more serious degenerative diseases. Neuromuscular disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis, motor-neuron and Parkinson's diseases all of which are medically incurable are just some of these disorders that are causing huge distress for patients. In particular where science has shown that working with the energy system of the body can benefit patients. Professor Valerie Hunt of UCLA spent 25 years working on the bioenergetic system of the body and concluded that degenerative diseases such as the above can be recovered evidence of which she published in her book Infinite Mind. In light of this I believe the time has come for our health services to embrace the new understanding of how our body functions. Hope is the one thing that must not be removed from patients and I believe if the proper health care  program including medicine is put into place incorporating all aspects of the body/systems patients can live longer, healthier and happier lives. This is the approach I have taken with Michael Fitzpatrick and indeed all of the patients I see in my clinic.” 

And it’s not just the motor Neuron disease that Michael O’Doherty of Just Imagine is treating. Fitzpatrick continued, “He has now put me on a diet where I’ve lost a stone and a half over the last 3 or 4 weeks – a detox diet – and I’ve found that’s done me a lot of good.” The TD advocated the Just Imagine bio-energy therapy saying, “I’ve great confidence in Michael O’Doherty. I’m not saying that he has cured me but I’m quite positive that he has helped me.”

The Kildare TD is not the only high profile figure to speak out about the merits of alternative medicine. Michael Flatley consistently praises the work Michael O’Doherty and Just Imagine. In an interview with Hello magazine Flatley said, “I can’t explain how the specialist [Michael O'Doherty] achieved what he did, other than to say he found a way to unblock my energy, to release it again positively within my body. I threw all the drugs I’d been given into the bin.”
